My name is Audrey and I am the Founder of New Road, Inc. For more than thirty years, I have been helping healthcare practices achieve their full potential. I strive to provide personalized services that address each of my clients unique needs and over the years, this approach has served my company and the practices we work with very well.

I began my career in medical reimbursement as a young accountant in an admin job with a group of emergency physicians. While observing the back-end operations firsthand, I developed a strategy to streamline the practice’s billing procedures. Seeing an opportunity to refocus his attention and energy on patient care while increasing the group’s bottom line, the group head signed a service agreement and my first company was born.

Consolidation in the healthcare industry helped my first client grow by leaps and bounds. Throughout this transformation, I adapted my operation to keep pace with the increasing volume of patients and procedures. However, I never sacrificed the core tenets on which I built my business: thorough, diligent, and personalized service. I learned that the systems I implemented were strong enough to be scalable. Whether processing 100 charts per week or 3,000, my team was able to deliver industry-leading reimbursement rates simply by staying true to our mission.

I have helped turn around myriad practice groups, both in-house and as a third-party billing agent. I have yet to come across an office without any room for improvement. Even the most prestigious hospitals can suffer from inefficiencies. It is my job to break the bad habits that hamstring operations. I can do that either by bringing my expertise to the practice or by bringing the practice's billing responsibilities to New Road. 

My most recent venture has been in transitioning free clinics to fee-for-service models, specifically on college campuses. Many colleges and universities absorb their clinics’ operating costs into the school’s overall budget. By switching over to a fee-for-service model and billing students' insurers, I have helped schools free up funding to reinvest elsewhere on campus.
